Huawei’s midrange tablet, the Huawei MatePad 10.4 Yuedong Edition, will receive the August 2022 HarmonyOS update. According to the report, this release implements security fixes.
According to the changelog, the Huawei MatePad 10.4 August 2022 update does not include significant improvements. However, it fully optimizes the system by incorporating the most recent August 2022 security patch, hence enhancing the tablet’s protective capabilities.
The update also strengthens the system to ensure a seamless and dependable user experience. Besides this, there is nothing else new in this release.
If you own a 10.4 tablet Huawei MatePad with the model numbers (BAH4-AL10) and (BAH4-W19), you fall in the eligible criteria for the upgrade.
From HarmonyOS 2.0.1.173, the software gets updated to the HarmonyOS 2.0.1.181 build version. The update’s package size is not specified in the changelog; therefore, you should ensure that your device has sufficient storage space.
